Not only books but does anyone still wear watches?
I just use my phone to tell the time.

They're more of a fashion statement now than a practical thing. But they are still popular in some sets. I wear one of these and use it quite a bit actually.

I manage a grant that helps people pay for tech school and my guys in IT and industrial fields ooo and aaah over it. The medical folks all wear smart watches. The corporate suit MBA/MPA types I work with love the expensive analog numbers. So they're still a niche thing.

When I was there in the late 90's it was all about the TI. I still have my TI-83.

The gift suite is where it’s at. I guarantee about 99% of our players already have some Beats head phones or the new Apple AirPods.

The phone has replaced a lot of things:

Alarm Clock
Address Book
Phone Book
Watch
Photo Album
PC
Calculator
Xbox/Gameboy/...
TV
Online Banking
Credit Card
Wallet for some
JC Penny/Sears/JC Whitney Catalog
Bio monitor, heart rate, steps, ekg, pulse
Walkie Talkie
Email
Airline Ticket
Event Ticket
Radio/Podcast
visual Doorbell/home security system/baby monitor
Car Key Fob - Onstar and others
Car diagnostics front end
Tom Tom/Garmin/GPS/road atlas
WiFi hotspot/Router
Encyclopedia/ Research
Translator
Concierge/Yelp
Replaces CD/Cassette/Vinyl/8-Track tapes
ohh and Camera /Video recorder

And that's from a 55 year old. Just think if I was 16.
You could probably multiply this list times 20.

No, you could divide by 20 if you were 16...because 16 year olds have no idea what most of these things are.
