Bowl Game Question,Opinions Needed

Since only me and a few others think we get to a Bowl game,this is a question for those who want the towel thrown in by the coaches and players.Since they sometime have to select a few 5-7 teams to fill all the bowl spots,for you negavols would you rather,turn down the invitation and knock the Vols out of some needed practice or accept the invitation?

I have wondered if this would happen as well. I believe it comes down to team academics, as to who gets the invite from other 5-7 teams. PAC 12 doesnt even allow their losing teams to go to bowls. The irony would be if we beat Vandy to drop them to 5-7, but we also finish at 5-7 and they get the invite.

Get offered a bowl game? You take the bowl game. Especially when your team sucks and shouldnt be in a bowl game. Never look a gimpy gift horse in the mouf.

What goes into the criteria for selecting a team that is 5-7 to get a bowl? Close losses? Traveling fans?

Go bowling - even if 5-7. It's a embarrassment, but just as embarrassing as the last 10 years of UT football. Plus it'll be played on a day/night when few if any viewers will be paying attention as they run up their credit cards for Christmas.
