We are having a couple friends over for the game, so I've got the beer fridge stocked with several local brews including my favorite gingerbread stout bourbon barrel aged beer. We've got meatballs, queso, fruit kebabs for the kiddos, pizza, and s'mores for after. It looks like the weather will cooperate and we can watch the second half outside on the projector. Go Vols!

For everyone watching at home, what’s on you’re plates and in your glasses today?
Pics are welcome too!

One of my cousin’s employees is from Mexico and his wife is making us four dozen homemade tamales of various types…poblano y queso, pork, chicken, beef, different salsas, etc.

Therefore, I will allow him to watch the game with me.

This will, of course, come as no surprise...

When I was a student back in the 70s we used to sneak full fifths of various beverages into the games. One of my friends loved Dickel and one game he finished the whole bottle by halftime. I asked him “Hey JRoot, how you doing?” And he said “the Dickel is gone and so am I”. Then he fell asleep on one of the bleachers.

LOL. I've probably eaten 1000 tamales in my life. Used to live in South Nashville and we'd get them from one of the myriad Mexican food trucks/stands/ladies selling out of baskets. They also sell them wrapped in banana leaves.

Sounds like you gotta stock some fine brown water and download DuoLingo!

IMHE, Latin dudes appreciate fine whiskey as much as the next man. My Brazilian friends get into the Johnnie Walker in particular!
