This may have been brought up already, but I have been on vacation. I was listening to Jim Rome in the Jungle and Tommy Bowden was his guest and he said that he has caught the fever after sitting on the sidelines for a couple of years and was going to entertain ideas of coaching again at the end of the season. Now I the question I pose is...we all know he had some great years at AU so would he be a fit here?

No. He is not a good coach.

I don't think he was a bad coach, but I wouldn't want him. Too many improprieties, and I don't like the last name Bowden.

pardon me for asking, and I know i'm asking this to a crowd that is so biased against Les Miles that he's considered a bad coach, but how is a person who led a team on probation to an undefeated season a bad coach? You can say all you want about how he likes the ladies too much, but how is he a bad coach?

It was Terry. He said he wanted to get back into coaching. I think he will be disappointed.

whoops, my bad, but didn't he have an 13-0 season and got ripped of a NC shot.

If UT hires Terry Bowden to coach the Vols, the fun for me will never cease. This place will be like a literal circus.

yes, it's Terry and currently he's an "unpaid" advisor at FSU...he has been on record stating that he wanted to coach again.

i for one have never been real impressed with him. actually, i can't stand him.

and yes, he did lead Auburn to an undefeated season in 1993, but was inelligible for post season because of probation.

1993....WTF?!?!?!?!?

Like we are always saying about CPF, what have you done latley????

Also, after being out of coaching for what 3 years now, I would think that maybe the game has "passed him up" as well ???

If Tennessee hired Terry Bowden, it would save me a substantial amount of money.

I think Bowden was a RB for 2 years at WV and a grad assistant at Florida St under Bobby. Maybe 1 of those schools are interested.

If there was anything that could make me stop following UT football, it would be hiring Terry Bowden. He might even grate on my nerves worse than Lou Holtz.
