Sounds legit. I may be an xbox owner next generation. Hopefully PS4 matches these specs somewhat?

Anything described as/ quoting "it's like 2 PCs taped together" makes me less certain/comfy with the articles source.

Part of the problem here is - because of the way media works in the modern age - all the sites want to be the first ones to break the stories...so a lot of them, willingly, seem to keep heavily (not the best word per se, but I'm on a phone at the moment) reporting the rumors in the hopes that they'll be the ones who grabbed onto the right one first.

No, and I really dont expect to see one til mid-year 2013

Yeah, I still think this is a little bit further off than people want to think, especially with how much time, money, and focus (/pushing) was invested by microsoft into Kinect.

Not sure, but I would imagine that they would go core processors instead of cell tech. Thats if they learned there lesson from the PS3. I would imagine that they would actually listen to the major game developers this time around.

The "always on, net-con required." business sounds like a bad idea.

Very curious to see these new consoles. It's been a long time coming. I doubt I'd upgrade though. I'm plenty content with my current systems and both are within 2 years old.

Yeah, so if my internet is down, I can't play the campaign on my new FPS game? Bullshat. If that sticks, I'll be all PS4 again.

The used games rumor wont make it either. Exact same rumors were going around when the PS3 was coming out.

They essentially compromised on that with the whole online pass BS. Since nearly every game nowadays is online, if you have to re-purchase a $20 online pass, the used game market is pretty bad.

it's about freakin' time we get some next gen consoles. The 360 was released in Nov of 2005!!

Microsuck better up their game in the hardware dept this time - I'm not dealing with RROD bs this time around.
