Brown will probably play tackle, not guard. Lambert will play DE according to his tweets.

Worley is our starting QB. Hill will be the #2 RB. Maybe a JUCO transfer TBA at nose tackle.

I think Worley wins the starting job again. He looked like he was turning a corner before he got hurt.

I believe Saulsberry starts over O'brien and King should play MLB at his size.

If both McNeil and Coleman are starting next year I will be very surprised. We have way too much talent coming into the secondary for one of them not to be on the bench next year. That's just my opinion though.

I think it will be North and Malone starting outside with Pearson starting in the slot.

I agree. I don't know. Maybe, it's going to be fun to watch. :peace2::)

First, you need 11 players on defense, another linebacker. Weathered would most likely at other olb I don't think Darr will be the punter. Medley is good enough to punt and may be the kicker as well. That will depend on who can/will get kickoffs through the end zone.

What corner was that? He didn't play that great against South Carolina.

We would not have won that game if Dobbs had started. Worley made some nice throws in that game. I know North made a hell of a catch but Worley still had to put it where the corner couldn't get it. Give the man some credit.

We could have. Worley didn't play that great. The North catch was not a good pass but it was a great catch. Most of Worley's yards came from great adjustments on bad passes. Dobbs was a true freshman and played a way tougher schedule than Worley. He completed 60% to Worley at 55. Worley threw for only about 20 more yards a game. All with Dobbs being a true freshman, playing a tougher schedule, and not having North (who made Worley look good) for the last two games.

It will be Dobbs or Ferg next year.

The QB race is wide open among the returning senior and two true sophs.

Hill, the guy who didn't see the field this year hardly, is going to start over Hurd? I'd rethink that. With Pickett being able to play this year, and the fact we are trying to land another RB, I think it's safe to say Smith and Hill both have a long ways to go before either of them consistently see the field.

I disagree. Dobbs to me has yet to prove he can throw into tight coverages. Dobbs would have thrown at least 1 int that would have probably cost us the game. I like the kid, be he wont win many games in this league throwing 2 picks a game. Also his percentage is higher because most of his passes were short screen passes.

He led his team to the biggest win the program has had since 2007. I would call that a pretty big corner. He didn't turn the ball over against UGA or SC, either.

We also saw an obvious drop off in ability to manage the game when he got hurt and every time that Peterman played early in the season. We haven't seen Ferguson yet, but from what the other two backups showed this year I wouldn't be surprised if he wouldn't have fared much better.

If Worley starts we are just as bad next year as this year. He is terrible

The team isn't likely to be much better next year, so don't set yourself up for disappointment. I think it was pretty obvious that Worley was the best option this year. I just think that he holds on to the job for another year.

Only 1 true soph.
Worley Sr
Peterman RS So
Dobbs So
Ferguson RS Fr

My guess is that Worley will start again and Ferguson will be #2. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dobbs redshirt next year. He has a high ceiling, but he's not ready yet.

I personally think Worley gets the start at beginning of year. the play of the offense will dictate how long he is able to hold that spot..

on the other part of your statement, doesn't matter who is the QB the record will most likely be the same as this season. slight chance, with a little luck, they can get to 6 wins. Need the bowl game practice so 6 is definitely the goal

ferguson will be the starter. he's the main reason we got malone instead of FSU or clemson.

nobody would come here if it was gonna be worley--WR's wouldn't get any yards!

and, the way worley dumps off 2 yards passes to the RBs and slot guys right when an opposing defensive player is barreling down on them is enough to scare anybody from committing to UT.

still can't believe lane, pig or neal didn't get concussed on one of these two dozen or so 'plays' earlier this season. hut-nobody open-freakout-2 yd.dump-BANG! there goes neal to the turf....just throw it out of bounds, dummy.

at least dobbs knows to roll out or avoid a sack without freaking out. his running ability alone gives us more options than worley behind center.

ferguson can run too. he's the dude. book it.

Worley has proven he can't throw into tight spaces. Or wide open spaces. Dobbs threw freshman picks, he also threw nice passes into tight coverage several times. Worley was a junior and the only thing he did better was not throw picks. Dobbs will come back with games against three top ten teams under his belt. He will be more experienced than Worley was at the beginning of this year. We know what Worley can do after three years. No way Butch starts him next year so we have another new qb starting all over in 15. It has to be Dobbs or Ferg.
