Booze in Neyland?

Hey guys I am going to the Vandy game this week. Its the first one I have been to in like 5 years and the first since I turned 21. I know they dont sell beer but do you guys take a flask in? Will they throw you out if security sees it? Also where can I pay to park? Dont mind cost just dont want to be miles away. Thanks.

I'm sorry, but no one ever gets booze into the stadium. UT is a dry campus after all, and in no way will 9/10 people around you be intoxicated. I have been going to Neyland for 19 years, and never have I seen drunken behavior in or around the stadium.

Funny story. My aunt used to take me to vols games when i was younger and didn't care about alcohol. I went to the marshall game after i turned 21. Sat at Buffalo wild wings all day leading up to the game, Drinkin like a champ. Walked to the stadium. walked in the stadium. went to the concession stand and didn't see a tap. ask the guy behind me where do you buy the beer. He laughed and said you can't drink in here brother. I WAS SHOCKED. i just always assumed that you could drink. I get plenty tipsy at titans games and surly thought that you could drink in neyland, Hell i thought that's why the stadium was so loud. 100,000 thousand drunk rednecks from tennessee watchin football together what would be louder than that. VERY DISAPPOINTING. but i understand why it's dry.

You can usually see empty liquor bottles around the stadium during the game. People are always sneaking them in. If you get caught though, you'll get thrown out.

It depends on what gate you go in. General ad. Just hide it in your boots or jacket pocket. If student then put it around your junk. That's the only place cops can't touch you. If they do you make a huge scene and they leave you alone before they notice what's on you.

Also cops are always looking so be cool. Old farts will call you out and so will the holy is I crowd. Just be cool.

They also make little pouches of liquor now that contain one shot. They are similar to a Capri Sun kids drink pouch. They fit well just behind you wallet. They never make you empty your pockets, so they never find it. They come in whiskey, rum, vodka, and tequila.

I don't know what they do if they catch you with it after you are inside, but I have seen plenty of people get caught with alcohol at the gates and they just take it away and then let them in.

who knew that you could learn so much about smuggling on volnation. BEST SITE ON THE INTERNET. TEACHES YOU LIFE LESSONS

If you go in with a date, have her put the booze in a hairspray type bottle, which they never check.

Alcoholic substance is not allowed in the stadium. It's on the back of your ticket. Obey all rules!

i've found that like most of the volnation if you smuggle your booze into the stadium in your bloodstream, that CLEARLY works the best....

In college, I just put airplane bottles in my socks. If they catch you, don't pitch a fit. Give them up and quietly go on in the stadium.
On a related note, did anyone else watch The Spots Reporters yesterday? They had a story about how Auburn and a few other schools have a system set up for folks to get help with annoyingly drunk fans. Apparently you just send a text to a certain number to tell where you are and who is annoying everyone. Then the security will spy on that person and kick them out if they get out of hand.
I thought it sounded like a good idea, since I've definitely had idiots beside me in the past. I once had a guy next to me spill an entire drink (coke and whiskey) on my wife's head, and then he just laughed about it.

Just buy something at the bookstore, get a bag put a pullover in it with some other stuff, they at most look in the very top of the bag that's it and avoid student gate as well.

U usually smuggle it in my bloodstream as well... just drink a whole bunch right before you walk in. You stay drunk til about the 3rd if you plan it right.. just in time to drive home... lol
