I imagine that several on both sides of the ball was visiting with the trainers today...probably more Cats, though...that was a hard hitting game, to be sure:D

Does anybody know why Kentucky started putting checkerboards on all their athletic uniforms? Seems a little weird since Tennessee has had checkerboard end zones long before they started using them.

Kentucky actually started using the checkerboard endzone back in 1930. We didn't start it until 64

Yeah, apparently the fans aren't really liking it very much. I can only guess it's because they feel that it looks a bit UT-ish, as mentioned in the article. And, I'm guessing that a percentage of the UK die-hard football fans hate UT like we hate UF.

UK had checkerboards at their field way before UT. UT made it iconic though.

I imagine that percentage is 100%. All 5 of those guys are probably big UT haters, and also angry they don't have enough die-hard football fans to spell "Kentucky" across shirtless bellies bloated by too much bourbon and too little exercise.
