The problem in this situation is, as is the case with many college teams, that the next man up is not nearly as talented as the starter.

Maybe but culture matters a lot as well. Under Pruitt, we had more talent than teams like Missouri but those teams beat our socks off and had better seasons. If I remember correctly, Boo Carter was just a 3* anyways.

I stopped listening to or watching any non-game sports commentary more than 20 years ago, and actually enjoy sports much more because of that. Unless you just enjoy grinding over every media hack opinion and "expert" commentary, I highly recommend it.

If correct that might be the best place for him. Sounds like he needs a change of scenery and a change of those around him. Likely won’t matter but sometimes kids can get their crap straight with change of scenery.

Kid is a remarkable talent but seems to make immature, impulsive decisions. He will definitely get his arse kissed more at Colorado than at Tennessee. Some guys want to be the big fish in a small pond.

Seriously. It's like old men yelling at clouds in here about this. Basilio is not that good nor powerful. If you get worked up over his stuff, YOU'RE giving him too much credit. He does what he does and it's entertainment, not critical info.

He got this one mostly right, he often gets things wrong. He doesn't "damage" anything.

UGA and Bama have been 2 of the best, if not the best programs in the country for over a decade. They’re established and have had talent rich Georgia to recruit from and Saban putting everyone in the League. We all know what we’ve been prior to Heupel getting and it’s still taking time. Can’t blame him for taking a chance on Mr. Football Tennessee from Chattanooga. You definitely have to try and salvage the relationship, but it sounds like there is an obvious breaking point and it may be getting very close to that. It’s amazing how shortsighted these parents and kids are.
