I would love to go. I went several years ago when Dave Matthews was there. From what I understand, it has changed a great deal. I read where they are going to have electricity everywhere this year. Crazy...

They had some tents setup last year with internet access...even a 'grooming' tent to shave and get a haircut...so alot has probably changed since you went.

Interesting that tickets are going on sale without a lineup announcement.

eh, not really. bonnaroo will draw people because it's bonnaroo. not because of the line up.

lots of people make this their yearly vacation. they don't care about the line up. it's an opportunity to go ahead and get their tickets for less. or, maybe a chance to get somebody else to buy your ticket for Christmas.

there's soooo much to do and see at bonnaroo that you know going into it 1. what it's all about and 2. the music going into it is so eclectic that there's going to be plenty to see.

i hope the headliners are Dead/Phish/WSP but i've also heard rumors of RHCP. that would be awsome.

They are allowing some sort of payment plan so people can get the discounted rate and then make installment payments.

they have a special low price offer that's limited for both GA and VIP.

then they have the payment plan as well.

the best route is to get them off eBay the week before.

I'll take you word for it doozer. I have not been and cannot ever see myself attending unless I come accross someone who offers to fly me in and out of there daily on a chopper, provide me with comfortable stage side seating, and provide me with a clean restroom where long lines are not an issue.

bought 2 tickets today at noon. most festivals sell tickets before the lineups come out at a lower price. was already 100% for sure going, so i bought them early.

I went in 05,06. I missed the one with the White Stripes but if Jack White is going to be there this year I'll definitely not miss it. Government Mule in 05 was a great experience. Heck 05 in general was a great experience.....I wonder when they'll be releasing the lineup.

I can tell you've never been. Portable Toilets as far as the eye can see. I've never seen so many in one place....and guess what, alot of them are UT orange.

last year worked out perfect for me. the girlfriends whole family lives in manchester/tullahoma, so we went home friday night after everything was over, took a nice hot shower, watched a little tv, and then slept for 14 hours. woke up on saturday and went back, saw all the shows we wanted to on saturday, and then stayed up until sunday night. sunday night we took our car out and waved goodbye to the muddy hippies as we passed.

i like being out there, but i like having a shower and air conditioning even better.
