I love Bone, and think he should be on this list, but him and Waters have comparable stats. And before any of you sheep jump on me, I said "comparable"...

Give us an unbiased opinion. Would you put Jordan Bone on this list over Waters?

They are pretty comparable across the board. I'd probably lean Bone, but it's hard for him to get attention because most would agree Grant/Admiral get more attention from defenses.

I'd pick Bone. But Waters is more important to his teams success so I guess I understand the focus on Waters. Waters worst 5 offensive games (according to KenPom) were all losses for LSU. His 6th worst? OT win against Arkansas. UT can get away with Bone having average nights.

No. Bone is so much more efficient, and it's not even close.

Bone is averaging over a 3:1 a:to ratio, .572 TS%, with 13.6 ppg, 6.1 apg, and 0.7 steals

Waters isn't even close to averaging a 2:1 a:to ratio, .548 TS%, with 15.3 ppg, 5.8 apg, and 3.0 steals.

Admiral and Grant are the reason Bone isn't putting up 18 ppg. He can get an open look almost anytime he wants it, but that's not his role. This award isn't about whose team needs them the most.

I feel like a Wildcat should appreciate Bone a little more, considering he lit y'all up this year. Waters? 3 for 13 (and LSU won).
