There are 120 teams in the BCS division. They can't all be in the major conferences. BSU has been trying to get into one.

no i am for the best team winning in any sport. but the minute college football became about money that idea no longer applies. the only way bsu plays for champ is if cfb can make more money off that than the traditional teams playing
