The father of a 23-year-old nurse whose body has laid in a Leeds mortuary for 25 years says he remains convinced she was murdered.

Ron Smith, of Guiseley, says he will not bury his daughter Helen until her killers are brought to justice.

Helen died in 1979 in Saudi Arabia after she and Dutch sea captain Johannes Otten apparently fell 70ft from a balcony.

It is thought to be the longest time a body has remained unburied in Britain.

Thank goodness we've evolved to the point where where we call the princes of Saudi Arabia and not the Shah of Iran or friends.

I think it'd be better if we didn't befriend dictators to begin with. Including those in Saudi Arabia. I wonder how hey get away with leaving a body in a mortuary for 25 yrs?
