I agree and as long as he’s making those connections with high school coaches which he is who cares if he ever talks to us. We aren’t the ones sending recruits....

I was all for Jones getting canned, but I will say, he was always out in the media hyping the Vols. Similar to when Pearl was here. We hardly ever see Pruitt. He needs to get out more in front of the fans and promote us better

He sure was out in the media. Usually saying some idiotic, yip-yap cliché; making TN the butt of jokes across the football nation. He should have shut his yap when his stock was up. JMO!

In his defense the article explains that he was a scout for the browns, but brought in, in 2013 as some recruiting coordinator type. It also says some other dude will probably be gone too.
