They should make him say no IMO

He has the itch to coach again. Was set to in the XFL for Dallas and is currently helping Riley out in OK.

Has a better record than Fulmer and a national title.

And he’s known for bringing in air raid offensive coordinators and letting them coach. He would be a great hire

Freeze, Kiffin, Stoops, Campbell, I'm done analysing which coach we should hire.
I just want to be relevant again.
Whoever wants to come here and is a damn good coach, that's who I'll support.

I'm Done with these dollar store coaches.
Done watching getting beat by everybody.

He would do well in Knoxville, maybe not NC well, but he would win a lot of games. Truthfully we need a hire like Mac Brown or Bob Stoops to come in and stabilize the program. We don’t need a national title, but we need to be nationally relevant. Getting top 15 finishes for around 5-6 years will allow all these wounds to heal and then we can gear up for a Natty run.

Could not agree more - these folks wanting a SEC title in 3 years and a Natty within 5 are just ludicrous !!!

The one thing I would say too in this case is that when that guy is hired, he needs to be told expectations...it seems like our recent hires have all been brash enough to say or act like the expectation is a SECC/NC in 3 to 5 years.
The expectation is just as you state - Top 10ish for 5 (meaning likely 9-11 wins) years.
