IF and I pray it doesn't come to this. But if Dooley can't suceed in 4 years. Is Stoops, a good hire for 5 mil?
Or how bout' Petrion from ARK. I don't like any of these coaches. I'm listening to this stuff on the radio.

Lets offer 8 mil/year to Stormin' Norman Schwarzkopf. The guy is a proven winner. See: Desert Storm.

WOW, our coach has yet to coach a game and there is already a thread about his replacement. Dooley is in a must win situation here, I feel like our fans are not going to give him the time he needs to suceed.

Were a month away from Dooley's debut and were talking about his replacement.

Are you saying you don't like Stoops or Petrino or are you saying you don't like the UT coaching staff? Your post leaves that up in the air...

We wouldn't get Stoops to leave Oklahoma (unless you're talking about Mike from Arizona, we'd get him). He's staying there.

I'm not sure how much I want a coach who's kept losing every big bowl game (since like 02 wa their last one). I mean yes, he's quite successful during the regular season (who else in the Big 12 has had a pulse though before the last few seasons?) but when it comes BCS bowl game time, his teams just now seem unprepared

+1. Heck, who knows, Bill Parcells might be looking to make a career move as well.

Jimmy Johnson. He's a proven winner and our program is easily more prestigious than Survivor. It shouldn't be any trouble at all to get him enough money to leave Nicaragua to coach the vols, right??

Yeah because the meanderings of a few on the Internet will have an outcome on ut football.

No it probably won't, but it is more widespread than just a few. My understanding is that one post on a player's twitter account kicked off this agent witch-hunt. The Internet is a powerful communications tool, but you never know who's watching.

Well, we'd have to match whatever Extenze is paying him now to hock wiener pills.

Not in this economy!

Craig T Nelson is still available too, he did a good job at Minnesota State.
