Kesling is the reason I have not listened to a football or basketball since he took over. I can't even stand the pregame chatter.

Not a fan, but Bob is not the worst. Just go to the other SEC broadcasts on XM a few times. As bad as he is he's in the top quartile in the conference.

Maybe you should rethink your priorities if this is "disturbing" to you. I'm more concerned about wins and losses. How Kesling sounds in his calls or what he says is the least of my concerns. Talk about being nitpicky.

Tomato, tomatoe...what disturbs some doesn't disturb others.
We could do so much better than him.
And yet, our fan base settles.

Agree. Just a thought, had you rather have Bob or an azzhole like Ga. use to have (hobnail call). He was the worst ever, not just when he called UT games, all games. By the way didn't he start as a sports reporter in Memphis in the fifties. If he did he was doing the same job in Jackson, Tn. before Memphis. I may be way of base.

Sounds good to me. Agree to disagree. :) I just don't care that much. There never will be another John Ward, and Mike Keith-- as much as he loves Tennessee--would never leave the job he has with the Tennessee Titans. I don't think that Bob does that bad of a job. But then again, he isn't perfect, either (hell of a lot better than Lundquist, thank heavens he's retiring). But anyway, moving on… :) GBO

He is so unprofessional that he mispronounces players names......

.If a players name was Johnson he would pronounce it as JohnsTon or if a players name was Hayes, he would pronounce it as HayNes.....

I hated when did local sports as well. I started watching channel 6 sports because of him.

Think about this, how many sports fans outside of Tennessee and Georgia even know about the Hobb Nail Boot? Hail Smokey would be better recognized nationally by recruits

To be fair, nothing is more generic than copying something else and only changing one letter. It's pretty much how hollywood makes movies these days.

Dave south is almost too bad to listen to.

He'll call that it's a touchdown, and then five seconds later it's an interception.

Or, you're constantly wondering what yard line the ball is that and who has the ball.

Let's be honest.... kesling was just having a stroke and started naming things he saw on the jumbotron
