I have not looked up the link yet, but just received a twitter from KSR that a brawl/riot took place last night at the Tolly Ho in Lexington between GA frat boys and some UK fans. The twitter stated:

"6 people were stabbed, 6 were assaulted. Reports say that people were standing on top of cars swinging chairs, and blood was everywhere."

Sad, sad, sad.

From the title and give the fans involved, I assumed it was a British style soccer slap fight. My bad.

Police say the first incident started at the downtown Blue Agave Cantina on Short Street. Investigators say an out of town frat who had come on a bus were part of the chaos that led to 5-6 males being stabbed inside.

Police say one man was stabbed in the chest. Several were taken to UK hospital.

Investigators say that group may have left the first scene, continuing on to the popular late night eatery Tolly Ho. That's where witnesses tell LEX 18 News a riot ensued of at least 150 people. Witnesses say people were climbing on cars, swinging chairs and blood was everywhere.

Police tell us some of the employees who work at Tolly Ho were assaulted. In all, 6 were injured. So far police have arrested two.

Ehhhh...150 is probably the biggest, ugliest mob Lex has ever seen not counting the UK dance team, of course.

It is ironic that UK has a cheerleading squad that dominates that sport on a level unknown to other sports, yet has a dance team that looks like the second shift of Deja Vu dancers who are all washed up baby mama's.

My take is that even Kentucky fans rank higher on the respectability chart than frat boys. They are at NAMBLA level.

I think they recruit from the Ag school. Never have understood it completely.

KSR just sent some kind of weird tweet that the frat organization was actually from Detroit, on some kind of recruiting trip. Which doesn't make total sense to me, waiting to see an actual police report.

I was there for the "Cyrus Virus" when Billy Ray played Rupp and that was an ugly mob...

On another topic, I always liked a Ho-burger (Tolly that is).
