Getting ready to leave on my annual flag walk with a brother from church who is an Army veteran. Carrying Old Glory for about 8 miles this morning. Have a safe, blessed day enjoying our freedom. That's what I'll be toting. By God's grace I made 8.3....Lots of cars/trucks honking and hand waving and good shouting! My brother and I are thankful! USA!

This day becomes more and more special to me with every passing year! And makes me appreciate the ones before us who sacrificed so much for our nation. No matter what voice tries to denigrate, destroy, or rewrite our history, THE AMERICAN FLAG STILL STANDS FOR FREEDOM all across the universe. Only a fool would try to deny the 4th's meaning for all mankind! GOD BLESS THE USA!!

Happy Independence Day, Volnation!

Go Vols!

Happy Independence Day!

Not being critical of anyone, but I wish more people would say Happy Independence Day, instead of Happy 4th of July.
I'd never thought about that, but Thank You both!

Because it's not the calendar that gets challenged--it's each person's sovereignty, each citizen's independence, protected by the Constitution and Bill of Rights that historically gets challenged from without, or compromised from within.

🙏🧠💪✍️🗣️🇺🇲

Happy Independence Day--around the world, some day!

On July 2, the Continental Congress approved Lee’s resolution for independence in a near-unanimous vote (the New York delegation abstained but later voted affirmatively). The following day, John Adams wrote to his wife, Abigail, that July 2 “will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival” and that the celebration should include “Pomp and Parade…Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other.”

The Roman Empire wasn't during modern times. And you know I'm talking about your absolutionist claim that:

But if you want to pretezel this into something irrelevant, you ahead, I expect that of certain factions here. Meanwhile, God Bless, America.
If you believe the Roman Empire was actually better than what we’ve built in the last 250 years, I don’t know what to tell you.

Maybe you should just shut up because I didn't say it was better. Pay attention pretzel. I know how you and your faction like to twist things into what they are not, read the post again.
