Define blatant vs normal run of the mill chop block? The chop block is a penalty alread, how do you distinguish?

This might be extreme, but it should be an eye for an eye. Any player that chop blocks. Should suffer the same fate as the kid he did it to. If it ends his career then the kid that chop blocked him should be kicked out of football. If it only hurts him for a few weeks then the kid that chop blocked him should be kept out for a few weeks. That will end all this chop blocking, and as a added benefit shut down the Georgia program.

I suppose this is the better approach but when it was first mentioned it I envisioned a medieval hooded terror taking a 20lb sledge to the knee of the miscreant.
