I don't understand why people can't grasp this. There's a reason he didn't hire a Mike Sanford, Lincoln Riley, or Doug Meachem. He wanted one of his guys that wouldn't screw with his offense.

It's more than that....Butch has a self esteem problem. He absolutely cannot stand the thought of having a coach behind him that could replace him. You'll never see a coordinator on a Jones team that he finds threatening. Butch always has to be the smartest guy in the room. Remember, the system is infallible.

For all of our bashing of the coaches, guys got to make plays. Debo has called a good game and oline has executed. Players gotta make plays to win.

Honest question, what have you seen so far that suggests Debord has called a good game?

Who recruits the players? Coaches
Whose job is it to put them in the position to win? Coaches
Whose job is it to mask deficiencies and play to the strengths of the assembled roster? Coaches

See a pattern there, by chance?

They have let the one player on Florida's offense beat them that they couldn't let beat them in Calloway.

4 plays inside the 2 yard line on a gift from the aforementioned player for the Gators and they can't put their pride aside long enough to line up under center and run QB sneaks.

Players playing as tight as possible and making mistake after mistake.

I am quite content blaming the guys with the headsets on.
