Except they weren't denied, they didn't have time to get them made. DeerPark already reported this. The pandemic also caused issued for teams getting uniforms. We were supposed to have orange pants for the opener at SC and wear the white over orange as a tribute to Johnny Majors but they didn't arrive in time.

This is a silly rumor someone started.

Didn't lie about anything there, actually brought it up in that weeks press conference how it wasn't going to happen because of supply issues and a contractual thing with Nike. Guess it's in the contract that Nike is allowed a certain amount of time for design, approval, and manufacturing and UT did not give enough notice for that process.

Pruitt said as much in his presser that week and the contract was made mostly public when the agreement first happened a couple of years ago.

Gotcha. So Nike denied....because of supplies amd contract....makes more sense what I read then
