I agree that it might be an issue with "some" of them, but for the most part, players look at the bigger picture. The ones that hang their hat on the race rack, typically dont stay very long. Atleast, I wouldnt think they would.

oh, and by the way, Its December 2007, almost 2008. Race issues are re-damn-diculous imo.

I hate when this line of thinking emerges. How about we just hire the best guy for the job - black, white, green splotches...who cares?

No team should be made to interview or consider a coach because of his skin color. Isn't that being prejudice in itself. I want the best coach for the job no matter what color he is. This is America and the American way is to hire the guy that is the most talented and fit for the job, not to hire a guy because there must be a number of a certain skin color in the coaching profession.

Um everybody is kind if right here. There are some kids that think they have to play for a black coach to relate better, but not all of them. But in a perfect world, color shouldn't mattier, but this sure isn't a perfect world. Like I said that's just some, in no way am I saying that all black recruits are that way. You can thank the Jesse Jackson's of the world for the few that do think that way.

Sorry didn't mean to turn this into politics. :ermm:

Same issue came up when Byrne hired Sherman here at aTm.
