He was a Rivals top 100 player. He would have had his pick of schools to go to had he not committed so early in the process.

After the East meets West game, his stock shot through the roof. There were many SEC teams calling him to see how firm his committment to UT was. Ole Miss offered. Louisville did too. There were others as well, I just can't think of them at the moment.

And I don't know what articles you were reading at the time Chavis, but every one I read alluded to the fact that Cutcliffe was the primary reason he was coming to UT. And I was a member of Rivals at the time.

Dude, that's pure speculation. I have presented you with facts and BJ's own words. on the matter. If you don't believe that, then I cannot help you. And I know why his rankings shot up too. I followed his recruitment closely. It was after his impressive showing in the East meets West Allstar game.
