DeSean Bishop played with more urgency on the pick six than our entire defense did all night. He played a great game offensively as well. 123 yards and broke Bama's linebackers ankles on his two explosive runs. His pass blocking is a very overlooked facet of his skill set. He played truly inspired football. Too bad our receivers didn't show up with all their drops.

Gotta say that I didn't see him becoming this kind of back. Kid has impressed many folks. Wish we had a lot more guys who worked as hard and played with the passion he does. If we did, we might look more like Vanderbilt and less like UCLA....wait....

Good kid. Played a great game. That was an excellent touchdown run. The best in a long, long time.

He is a local kid and plays like it really matters to him that TN is successful.
Not that others don't but for him it is also hometown pride that has been instilled likely since birth.

I wish Bishop had more carries in the first half. Also, if he brings the guy down on the pick six it's a different ball game since time had expired. That was one of the biggest factors in the game--- the shoestring tackles that Bama made all night that seemed to be very significant and then the ones that we could not make.
