I agree, seems like a straight up guy. No B.S. and he's actually looking everyone in the eye when he's talking to them. I feel alot better than I did this afternoon. Plus I'm hearing some of our de-commits are coming back.....Go Vols...........Commish:good!:

But I am Dooley

I am a good judge of character and I could see Lame had none after 3 mins

This guy has it a ton of it!!!

Most will come back and I think HCD will bag some top tier recruits. Looks like a good start to the recovery plan.

The most important part is the ability to coach college football well. I still believe Kiffin can. I'm not at all confident about Dooley. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not optimistic.

I was not against Lame... because of Fulmer

Fulmer had nothing to do with Lame being a ####..I am not going to support a #### just because UT hires him!

I think most can see know why I was against Lame!!!

what have you seen that makes kiffin such a good coach? is it his awesome nfl hc record or his ut record? the guy let us get killed by virginia freakin tech!!!!!!

This is hiliarious....everyone LOVED Kiffin for his soundbytes. Now everyone is acting like they never liked them.

This is quite humorous to see how many sheep we have as fans.

CDD is seriously intense. Gotta love the way he slapped down the ESPN radio rep:rock: It may be alittle early, but I was yelling and applauding while listening on my couch. He seems to have Class and Intergrity. :dance2: I feel alot better than I did at 2pm.

I fully expect him to win big at USC. I can't guarantee it, but I think it wil happen. I can't deny he did well his first season here. We were all excited for a reason.

Terrible hire, Mike Hamilton should be fired! This guy is Fulmer Jr, only problem is we hired a guy who is a goldfish who will be going up against sharks. The Fulmerites are in love with this clown.

Looks like a good move for the team. I think he will bring class, strong work ethic and organization to the program. I really doubt secondary violations will be an issue anymore. Just hope he can coach as well as his first impression was:)

I think Monte can coach, I don't think Lane has proven anything yet... but since hes got everyone with him I don't think it matters

This guy can recruit and coach. Motivate and lead. He is a real man in a man's world and just needed the opportunity to show what he and a staff a team to do.

Kif was a VW Dooley is a Royal Royce.

Character doesn't win games. Yes, Dooley looks like he's a class act, but if it doesn't win games why does it matter? Look at Fulmer, then look at Meyer and Saban.

Kiffin is going to win big at USC and when he does I'm going to be very sick but he's got the right mentality and the recruiting skills along with the staff to do it.

If you have time check the 90's. I think you will see something very common and that's wins! If I remember there was a national championship in there too. He lost his edge in the final years and I agreed it was time for him to go but for the most part Fulmer was a very good coach. Plus he had class and made TN look good.

If we are lucky this new guy will be like a young Fulmer! You don't have to be loud and be a dick to coach football. Don't forget that please!

He's already been in Knoxville for 2 hours and he hasn't offended anyone or pissed off half the coaches and players in the SEC! Hey...He may be a keeper!

The only one who "wants" it? are you sure? There were plenty out there that wanted it:

Kippy Brown
Jim Cheney
Kirby Smart - was not even approached, turned down DC for GA because he wanted to be a HC.
There are plenty of coaches but Hamilton wanted to do it quickly so we got a lame hire.

I said it once and I will say it again, rush hire and Hamilton needs to be fired and Fulmer does not need to be the next AD.
