I don't want anybody from Clemson staff. We have recruiters. We need coaches.

I agree we need new coaches but you might want to do a little research about this kid before you go spouting off about not wanting any one from Clemson's staff.

Billy's dad, Bill, coached the Murray County Indians for years and was considered an expert on the offensive side of the ball. He did a whole lot with very little talent. The players were nothing if not disciplined. They also played with energy and they were downright mean. If Billy is anything like his father, we should look into an offer.

Up until Murray County went something like 1-9 in Napiers last year! All kidding aside, Napier's father is a great man and was an excellent coach with little to no talent. Im a Dalton High alum and played against Napier coached teams for 4 years.

First of all i'm just stating my opinion. What has Napier done? Prove to me he's a good coach and i'll change my tune. Judging by what Clemson has accomplished on the field they are more of a joke than we are at this point. Their staff has got more talent than we do and can't win in the ACC. If i'm not mistaken Napier is tight ends coach. I didn't even realize Clemson had a tight end. So i think i'm justified in my opinion.

Bowden himself said he was the smartest young coach he had ever been around and said he was going to be a head coach somewhere someday. Now Bowden might not have been that great of a coach but he saw something and I would put his resume up against anyone on this board any day.

UTK needs to throw some money at this guy for an assistant position. Assuming he does not stay at Clemson he will probably wind up at SC or UGA. He is too good of a recruiter for UTK to allow him to slip to a divisional rival without a fight.

Many Clemson insiders will tell you that Napier and Dabo Swinney are the two bright spots on that staff.

I wouldnt be surprised of Clemson plays well the rest of the year and the job goes to Dabo. I think the 2 problems left when Bowden and Spence moved out.

I guess now we will find out since it's their ship to steer. Wasn't Spence one of the top candidates for the OC at UT? I was one of the guys that supported Clawson but i'm starting to find myself questioning his hire.

What has he done? Take a look at his recruiting stats. We don't need him as a coach we need him as a recruiting coordinator, although he will make a fine coach someday.
