From B/R:

Sallee

Alabama vs. Tennessee. No, not the one played on Rocky Top on the third Saturday in October. The rematch between one-loss teams that will take place in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 3, 2016, a month-and-a-half after Tennessee breaks a nine-game losing streak to the Tide. This time, both rivals will be vying not only for the SEC title but a spot in the College Football Playoff in what will serve as a de facto national quarterfinal.

The biggest game of the year will be the game we're playing next. For instance, the biggest game of the year right now...is App State.

I understand the thought behind this but app shouldn't be a problem or even a test.

Our first test is what we do against VT and then Florida.

Correct, first true test is Florida. The others are cream puffs, just warm up games. Good practice for the team.

All this talk about cream puffs and easy games is exactly what gets saban riled up at the press. Even though he's a huge D-bag and (IMO) the biggest recruiting cheat in the history of the game, he's right about that.

One game at a time.

Sarcasm aside I don't see the need to worry. We should handle inferior teams like we're suppose to. Last year on the big stages we screwed the pooch. I want to see whether or not we fixed it before sweating over teams like app and Ohio.

Come on guys/gals. If Tennessee is to win the sec, every game is the most important. Yep, all of them. I have seen us lose games that no-one would ever expect us to lose. Stuff happens we you begin to underestimate your next game. Lets celebrate after each victory and let the season take its course. This is not the season I want to see egg on our faces. Win, but win with class. I know that may be difficult for some fans, but get with the program this year. We can celebrate our win as they occur. I elect we will do a lot of celebrating this year so lets do it one game at a time.

I don't care what Saban says Alabama doesent sweat inferior teams. They always crush them. Which Tennessee should do each and every time.

Fans and media have the luxury of looking past games.

I don't think anyone is saying run the score up and taunt people but we should roll in ooc games every time.

That's always been my line of thinking.

Every day is game day. Every game is the most important game.

They just said app ran for 2 bills on sec now and still lost 41-10

I'm not worried.

The team shouldn't be either.

I want to say Alabama but you have to get to Alabama undefeated for it to be the biggest game.

You think that Debord and Coach Strip were worried about App. State when they (Michigan) went into that game ranked number #5 in both major FBS polls? Chances are Carr and company were thinking just like the majority of people on here. Kind of like how last season we went into the BG game thinking it was just a tune up. Make no mistake, I think that every coach and player in the UT football program is entirely focused on one game at a time, since they know any slip up could cost them the SEC championship, etc.

Right. They crush them BECAUSE he tells them to not think about how easy the opponent is, but to just to go out and do their dam job.

Think maybe this team tonight was a bit overconfident? Already had the win penciled in?

Do you get it now?

Biggest game of the year is next week imo. We will see what this team really will look like.
