I have been in upper East Tennessee for 40 plus years and I love this side of the state but I also appreciated my birth home as well. Just ask yourself this question, had the circumstances been reversed would you be as critical of Barnes for postponing or canceling the game. Before you say he wouldn't do that, I would say,'yeah right'. I appreciate your attempt at educating me but at my age GTS is a large part of my daily life. Condescension isn't always required in most discussions.

According to a number of scientists, there are therapeutics that would decrease the covid death rate by over 90%, almost 100% of those who don't have health issues that contribute to morbidity. Yet, you haven't heard Fouci recommend or endorse therapeutics. Throughout his career, Fouci has pushed vaccines over therapeutics, ignoring the science. If I had a child under the age of 14, I would not allow them to be vaccinated nor would I allow them to wear a mask because of the science that says it's detrimental to their health and development. DO NOT depend on the federal government to form your opinions. Do your own research and get the facts from those who don't have an agenda to support!

If so we won't have to worry about the game getting canceled as Purdue stated back in August they had over 95% of their team vaccinated.

Freedom Donnie freedom! That's the #1 reason. #2 is that the 2 programs will jump through whatever the latest "hoops" it takes to get players on the field.
