Ou shuts out Okie lite and I'll admit up front, I was wrong about this game. I predicted a long time ago that this would be Gundy's year to trump Stoops. The Sooners even in a down year, still have the edge over the Cowboys.
Nebraska set themselves up for a Big12 CG and it really is not shocking. They played about as well as I thought they would, and they'll promptly get their butts handed to them by the sips very shortly.
Mizzou and Kansas fought to the death, again. This might have been the straw that breaks the camel's back for Mangino, and rightfully so.
ISU made a rise this year, and even when the chips were down, some writers considered their coach to be a COTY candidate.
Baylor took a big step back and without a decent Qb, they will continue to be in the bottom teir of the South.
Colorado has began to unravel. When Hawk made that comment about recruiting his kid last week, it possible began a movement for his removal. I wouldnt be shocked if changes were made in Boulder by the start of next year.
t.u. and my beloved Aggies put on a good show for the Nation on turkey day night. Yes, Jerrod is that good. Yes McCoy is a little better, but the fact that they both had outstanding games does not change the final score. t.u. is set for a NCG, but I'll go on record now in saying, I dont think they can beat either SEC representative. That's not a scorned Aggie comment btw, that's an honest, unbaised opinon.
In closing I'll add that no one wants any part of TCU and rightfully so. Right now, I think they may be just as good as any of the remaining undefeated teams.
I can gladly say, I am looking forward to Bowl season now that the Ags are in. Ive seen Auburn as a potential matchup and I still dont know what to think about that. I guess I'll have enough time to figure them out though.
Thanks and Gig em'
