OK, despite Texas's comeback win last night, i think what we've learned so far, is that the Big 12 South's lack of defense wasn't over blown at all.
i was wrong. in three games played, each offense jugernaut was held in check if not soundly defeated. Even in a win last night, Texas was denied the big play and the points they are used to scoring. they couldn't run the ball and Texas's offensive line got pushed around much of the night.
credit the off coaches and mack brown for the no huddle hurry up that really wore out OSU's Defense.
as for last night, i thought Ohio State came out and played the 1st half exactly how they had to to win the game. Running game was dominant, and they held Texas out of the end zone, stopped Texas's running game and dominated the TOP.
just as impressive, if not more so were the adjustments TExas made at the half. Mack Brown, will Muschamp and co. out coached Tressel at half time.
it was a great game that didn't mean a damn thing.
congrats to Texas........i guess.
