Texas Tech would be dumb not to hire Ruffin. Their image has been tarnished with all of this Leach nonsense, I think Ruffin could build it back. Also, Leach won't be at Kentucky as a HC, Jokers already the HC.

Texas Tech will never have anyone bring them to the level Leach achieved. Their best bet is Tubbs, but I doubt they could scrounge up enough money to get him. Afterall, I expect Tech to pay Leach what's owed to him before this is all over.

So does Franchonie. I hear he was recently passed over though, so he may have a bruised ego right about now.

Looks like after today's events, it will be between Tubbs and McNeil. They'll have to pay too much for Tommy I think, and I would be shocked if he put his signature on anything that had 3+ years on it.

As far as Ruffin goes, he basically made it known he wants the gig pretty bad in his postgame comments. I think he'll take less money for sure.

Its up to Tech's notoriously crappy AD now. Does he make a gamble and sign Tubbs before the Leach paperwork gets resolved, or does he play it safe and hire a guy who will work for virtually pennies on the dollar compared to the other options?

I see em taking the cheap road, which will make me much happier.

Looks like Tubbs to tech. Crap, I sure hate that for him. He deserves a better fan base. Its going to be hard for them to adjust to someone with his character and class.
