they said tennessee is another team that they may invite.. i would not be a UT fan anymore if they did that

what do they think that we're just some sort of mid-level team thats lookin for a come up or something... i think its disrespectful for them to even consider inviting us... i hate the Big Ten

As if Tennessee would actually join the Big 10.


The thing is I would get to see them more because they are in a Big 10 market.

This is all just BS. The perfect solution is ND, but, for some reason, they can do what they please. Why doesn't the NCAA just threaten to kick them out if they don't comply? No team would schedule them if they weren't considered NCAA and, obviously, no big players would come. It would be the end of ND athletics as we know it. They would have to give in. Instead, the NCAA will let them do whatever and force 2-3 conferences to make huge changes.

Also, other than rivalries, I don't think it would be a horrible, horrible decision to change conferences. I think we would hold an advantage because of the SEC experience and we could definitely hold our own recruiting against them in the south. We would dominate the south Big 10? TV schedule and this would lay inroads to more exposure in the north. Still, SEC or bust.

That would actually be pretty interesting and probably fun playing new faces... for a few years. Then I'd miss the passion that comes out of the SEC.

yea not only do i like watchin the Vols play but i just like SEC football period, im a true fan of the SEC and u put the SEC and UT together u get secut however u pronounce that but with the Southeastern Conference and Tennessee i believe this is the reason i LIVE

makes no sense it just wouldn't jive with me big 10 is for the cold weather teams not sunny teams.

i just hate the Big 10 and having UT move to the Big 10 would be the equivalent of my mom becoming a terrorist... it would be tough to support that

i would love it if Mike Hamilton were to quote that too when asked to join the big 10, and then hang up the phone immediately
