Biased announcers

This one I will just have to wait on and then bring out later. I cannot see what it is about Michael Vick that has you guys convinced. I saw him play and he was not a QB period. He was a running back. And a darn good one but a running back. I saw guys wide open all over the field and he had no ability to get them the ball. Teams were lining up 100 percent committed to the run and if he got lucky once in awhile then so be it. I did not see that against Young last year, although he does have more to prove. But, as a man when I hear him talk I think wow for a guy with all that talent he is not satisfied he wants more. Vick always sounded like and is a lunatic. So, naturally I thought wow that guy is going to prison someday and is never going to improve. And well he didn't improve and will be going to prison. Anyone can pull out some numbers and thats great I understand but my eyes and ears they do not lie.

Vick is definitely faster, and much stronger armed than Young, but I think Vick pretty much stopped improving after the first few years... Young is still learning.

To this day, none of those guys have really proved to be superior to Young... At least give him a few years of failing before you call him awful.

Vince Young scored a 4 on the wonderlic. He's far from intelligent.

VY reportedly scored a 6 the first time (scored a 16 later on that day). After having numerous conversations with Vince, I've come to the conclusion that he is far from dense. I'll take dialogue over a worthless test score when discussing a player's intelligence.

Other Wonderilc Scores: Steve Mcnair, Dan Marino, Randall Cunningham and Terry Bradshaw=15. Vinny Testaverde got a 17.

I'm surprised Terry scored that high.

Merchandise means fans. Fans mean viewers. Viewers mean ratings.

there are definitely some "national"schools, i.e. Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame to name a few.
These schools have a following everywhere, due to numbers, plus OSU and Mich. are from populated states and their alumini go everywhere. Thus the Big 10 launched a television network that is selling more briskly in California and on the west coast than in Indiana. I love Tennessee and would absolutely love an SEC network, but recent market analysis says it won't happen due to SEC, although great, does not appeal throughout the country. SEC schools are not as big as OSU, Mich, etc. and alums stay relatively close, in most cases, and extremely loyal. It all counts when you are marketing and merchandising as well as television coverage. I have been thrilled to see as much SEC football as I do. I know I am biased but Ithink the above figures in to the BCS, and Auburn really got burned a couple of years ago. But how many people in New York, Cal. , etc give a hoot for Auburn. Most could not name the state where the school is located. Regardless...go vols beat the crap out of Cal. show the west coast what SEC football is all about.

Yeah, because people in New York and California are enamored with Norman, Oklahoma.

Don't leave out the massive media market in South Bend, Indiana. That market is so huge Notre Dame got their own NBC contract to televise the games..

Be that as it may, that was last year. I am confused, is this 2007 or 2006? Please, do tell me what year it is!:eek:hmy:

Does it matter Seth?

New year - same results. Same situation... Cal is overrated once again and UT is feeling disrespected.
