SIAP. So the site linked here has us as 100-to-1 to win the BCS next year. If you geninely believe that the all teams listed with better odds than Tennessee are better than Tennessee they have us fighting for a bowl next year again. They have six of our opponents listed higher--Fla, Georgia, Alabama, Miss. State, South Carolina, and Missouri.

In other news Ohio State isn't even on the list.
Might be worth some money on the field just in case

Edit: nevermind...forgot OSU got the 1 year postseason ban

A good observation and legitimate interpretation. Vegas odds makers do not fool around. They are the most unbiased analysts out there.

I'm not going to accept another excuse-fest from Dooley, but it goes to show that the talent level is still not entirely replenished in the program. Given that we have now had three good classes, it is only reasonable to accept that we need a fourth straight solid class to put us on par with many of the teams on that list.

A complete and utter understatement.

Its amazing that fans dont realize that it is in the bookmakers best interest to be as close to correct as possible. Way more often than not the bookmakers are correct. Are they wrong? sure, but not very many times.

If you hedge your bet you might be seen by some on here as being a negavol. Not that I would let that stand in my way of making some CASH!

No one in the NFL had 400-1 odds. 100-1 odds are the worst. Those teams with 100-1 odds next season consist of seahawks, rams, vikes, bucs, jags, redskins, browns.

The redskins are really pretty talented. They beat the World Champs, twice.

What if.... Peyton goes to Washington? I would say if that happens that would be the best bet. Although, odds would change if that happened.
