Best:
1. 1998 Florida State. Has to be tops on the list because of what it represented.
2. 1998 Arkansas. Yeah, we were lucky. We also didn't quit after being down by 18 to a team playing great football. Without that, the luck is irrelevant.
3. 2001 Florida. Spurrier's last game in The Swamp with the Gators...national title in his sights...Travis Stephens runs all over them.
4. 2003 Miami. Every time someone needed to make a play, they did. Also the game of his life for Dustin Colquitt.
5. 2003 Alabama. 1:52 in regulation, down by 7, Casey Clausen takes us down the field. Fourth-and-19 in OT. Bammers crying in their soup. Sweet.
Worst:
1. 1999 Arkansas. We had just moved to No. 2 in the BCS standings. Win out and we get a shot at defending the championship. This ended it.
2. 1995 Florida. I'll never know why Fulmer tried that field goal to start the second half. We were going to need touchdowns to win. As soon as Hall missed it, I knew we were toast.
3. 1996 Memphis. A probable major bowl bid down the tubes. If we couldn't beat that sorry team, we didn't deserve one anyway.
4. 2002 Maryland. The one time I saw a Tennessee football team under Fulmer just plain lay down and quit.
5. 2001 LSU (SECCG). It didn't sting quite as bad for me; I saw it coming, and besides that Miami would have beaten us anyway. Still wish we'd had the chance to try, though.
