I would love to have Gruden here if it is possible, but appreciate Dooley

1 less guy walks on the field and we beat LSU

1 official doesn't call phantom helmet to helmet, phantom hold and let them kick the field goal again and we beat NC

2 top notch corners and we beat Florida, Mississippi State and Georgia this year and play Alabama close- watch the tape if you don't believe it.

2 of those years we played with more underclassmen than all but 2 NCAA schools in the hardest league in the country

This year we have not lost to anyone outside the top 12 in the country and we are still young - most of our guys are true Juniors or younger. We are just now beginning to be able to redshirt guys.

I would love Gruden though for the crazy recruiting

Actually I take that back, if you're counting final rankings, we are 0-4. Ole Miss was not ranked when we played, but ranked #21 at the end of the year.

No worries.

Seems like the fanbase was almost as uneasy going into the Georgia game that year as they are this week, no one picking us to win. I'd like to see us blow Carolina's doors off this weekend.

The fact that beating Vandy twice (one being in OT at home), Ole Miss, and Kentucky are considered "top wins" is a joke. After those 6 wins take a look at the only other wins in the Dooley Era:

UT Martin 50-0
UAB 32-29 (OT)

Dooley is in over his head. Flame away if you wish but the facts are hard to argue. Don't get me wrong, I will still be wearing Orange on Saturday and cheering on the Vols but a win on Saturday will not change my opinion. It's time for Dooley to go!

Agreed 100%. I will be cheering for us to Win, but expecting a loss. No matter what the outcome, Dooley isn't a good fit here. I truly believe him to be a good person and he does want to please fans. He is just not capable of being a winning coach especially in the SEC

I don't know if CDD should be our coach next year or not. I hear the arguments both ways.

I just fondly and fervently miss the days when UT football was relevant and feared and respected. Is CDD the coach to get us there? I have long hoped so, but I'm just not sure.
