It's gotta be JJ, right? His highlight reel from yesterday alone was insane. He's consistently made big plays for years and then you got memorable all-time plays like the TD against Florida and the Dobbnail boot.

Who else would be in the conversation with JJ? Peerless Price, of course. Is he #2?

Edit: there seems to be confusion about the question I am asking. I am not asking who the best WR is. Who has the best career highlights? Or try this, if each player's highlight reel only contained 25 yard plays and clutch moments, who would have the longest reel?

JJ had a tremendous game yesterday!

But, Stanley Morgan is still the best.

Gault and Morgan were special but let's not forget All-Americans Larry Seivers(twice), Tim McGee, and Carl Pickens. Then there are guys like Nash, Kent, Price, etc. Jennings is a rough and tumble player who will battle. He's just a play maker, but UT has had some really special talents at the position. JJ will be a beloved player, but likely wouldn't be in my top 10.

Jauan Jennings is definitely included in a very prestigious group

Lots of greats, we were once known as WR U....
Stanley Morgan, Tim Mcgee, Willie Gault, Carl Pickens, Peerless Price, Joey Kent, Marcus Nash, Donte Stallworth... & so many more!!

Yes, Carl Pickens had a 13 catch game against Notre Dame in 1990; Kelly 'The Future' Washington had a monster 11 catch game against LSU in around 2000ish.

JJ's seven catch game was definitely up there among those special memories.

If we're talking pure highlights then yeah he's up there for sure. Definitely in recent vol history. CP was ridiculous at times too with some of the crazy runs he had but lacks the true game changing moments Jennings has had in his career.

A lot of people forget how good Pickens was because we played Johnnyball back then and Andy Kelly often threw it to the other team as much as he did his own.

In the NFL Carl had a 99 catch 17 TD season.
He may not hold all the records (he left a year of eligibility on the shelf) but he was the most talented we ever had.

Top 10 WR or top 10 WR highlight reel?

Jennings has played a lot more snaps than CP and thus has a lot more total highlights, but yeah CP is right there with him in terms of electricity

I didn't watch him. Not old enough. You're saying he's a better WR or that he had a better highlight reel at Tenn?

In my opinion, Stanley Morgan was the best Wide Receiver in the last 50 years at UT.

The receiving records are a bit misleading, because Stanley had to also play tailback for us.

Imagine the highlight reel Dontae Stallworth would have strung together if Kelley Washington hadn’t tricked him into leaving early

We've seen it. Just look at Morgan, Gault, McGee and Pickens.
