My daughter wants to buy her boyfriend and my future son in law tickets for the opening game this year. Any help on seating or ticket prices would be appreciated. Any place to buy tickets cheaper?
Thanks...

Best seats are about 25 rows up from where they run out of the T anywhere neare the uprights. Those are my seats at least.

UTsports.com will have individual game tix on sale starting early Aug.. You can buy some decent seats for face if you strike early. If you want a real deal, go to the stadium empty handed and wait until a few minutes before kickoff and get them cheap. Even with the new buzz surrounding this program, I would have a hard time believing that the WKU tilt would be a sell out.

She would like to give them to him for his birthday in May. Can she buy them now?

He's a fine young man who's done two tours of duty in Iraq. He's been at Ft. Campbell but is being transfered to Ft. Gordon in Georgia in June.

Like vtvol said, I'm pretty certain you aren't able to purchase individual game tickets until early August, but you could have your daughter call the UT ticket office at 800-332-VOLS (8657) or 865-656-1200 just to make sure. It's worth a try.

I've used ticketsnow and stubhub for VOLS tickets, but those sites are probably pricier due to seller mark-ups.

Well, she bought two tickets last night off of some ticket site. 50 yd line, I think Row 23, Section C.

I hope this is legit!!!

Section C is one of pricest sections. If you have tickets in that section they have to be from an Alumni who can't make the game. Congrats on the tickets I will be there in Section N Row 17.

sections C-D or S-T (?) on the other sideline. I like them at least 10-15 rows up for view. 50 yard line, close in the uppers are good too.

This is the cheapest place I have found.
University Of Tennessee Football Tickets - University Of Tennessee Football Schedule

If she can afford it get section C tickets. Their on the 50 yard line and you can see everything. Cost is $144 per ticket. Been going to games since I was a kid and until recently I went to 2-3 games on the 50 and will never sit in nose bleed section again.
