Thanks, worse than I remembered real time. NO WAY that call can be made. His progress was slowed but never stopped. He kept driving the defender toward the endzone till he reached out and SCORED. The biggest problem is they hide behind the judgement call when the lead official could enforce the following when they occur.

If an official sounds his whistle inadvertently or otherwise signals the
ball dead during a down (Rules 4-1-3-k and m):
1. When the ball is in player possession, then the team in possession
may elect to put the ball in play where declared dead or replay the
down.

He for sure otherwise signal the ball dead after the ball crossed the goal line.

Watching this replay for the millionth time, if Fant makes the block, he walks into the end zone. Totally missed the block.
But the ref screwed the call, progress was not stop and he was never down and the ball crossed the end zone.

Yeah, well I think Wright scored a touchdown, but Fant's missed block is a noteworthy add to these comments. If Fant controlled his assignment, Wright would not have been tackled and we would not be having this discussion.
