It's not for a game, but you've got to use Jimmy V's "Don't Give Up" speech from the ESPYs. That brings me close to tears every time I hear it.

...that one made the headlines but according to some of his explayers it was not even close to his best. Some were rather tactless and tasteless involving tampons, used toilet paper, grabbing his own body parts...I was not an eyewitness but these were from former players dating back to the 75 and 76 team.

There have been some very interesting stories told on Coach Knight's talks in these parts and also A. Rupp at UK's "puke speech" is a classic if less than classy.

Also seems like gladiator (not the boxing movie) had a good one at the beginning before they fought germania

It wasn't as much about what is being said but, the 98 NC game, with Al Wilson pacing back and forth behind Fulmer as he game his speech. Just watching Al, pacing back and forth like a caged cat, makes the hair stand up on your neck.

Just messing with you, maybe in 7 years I'll know the diff- just gets me pumped seeing those scenes, thought that was the kind of stuff the op was looking for.

How about when gt was up about 100 pts at the half and the ht speech convinced them they would lose if they didn't put on more steam- I think they put another hundred on em. No video, but might be some audio out there
