It would have been fine, if not for the sponsor mentions. Hell, I had a coach that would pray like this:
"Lawd, please let us spread the floor and run the court. Please let my pg handle the ball and stop at the ft line on a 3 on 2. Help my soft bigman to box out and act like a man tonight. Help us to trap well and not let the man split it. And help us to play defense, so the team we play remembers what happened when they were here. Help us concentrate on free throws when it's crunch time, and keep our throats clear of the choke. I was gonna come into this thread and mention how it reminded me of this, but there you go.

I haven't really been keeping up with this, but I'm surprised the evangelical community isn't more upset by this.
