I need some suggestions on the best place to set-up a tent for tailgating this weekend (10/20). I plan on getting there early and hope to meet some of the VolNation members.

Thanks,

If you can get a pass for Neyland garage, that's always a good spot, if you get there early enough to get up on the top level.

There are so many lots, it's hard to say what a "good" spot is. Any certain area you'd rather be in? What's your age? Because some spots attract a certain crowd, and others attract another.

There's a grassy spot right outside of Gibbs on the corner of Lake Loudon and Volunteer. Not only does nearly EVERYTHING pass through that intersection, but there's an electrical outlet on the outside of Gibbs right there.

If you couldn't tell from my profile, I'm a newb in these parts. I'm working with a friend on planning a bachelor party for a good friend. See, we are all ND fans and have only tailgated around the midwest. For his last night of fun ever, he chose to spend it with you fine fans to see how you guys do it in the SEC. (If you're wondering, his mom went to UT and has always liked your program)

So, what do you suggest as it relates to setting up a tailgate? Any pointers on where to set up or maybe where NOT to set up? We came across this website that would help us out-of-towners get the tailgate locations and all of the essentials. Tailgate Tennessee | You bring the crowd. We'll take care of the rest! Is Circle Park a good location?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

Circle Park is great. Tailgate Tennessee is damned expensive though.

There's another thread sort of going on this, but how expensive is damned expensive? Just curious is all.

Edit: found this from last year: link
