It had to be said. Once I read this thread and saw some of the movies that were mentioned I knew I had to sign up just to voice that one.

I would have to agree that Citizen Kane is if not the "best" certainly the most influential movie ever. But for pure cinematography and hard to figure personality.....Lawrence of Arabia gets 5 stars. I have watched it many times and still can't figure if the guy was a genius or an idiot.

Lawrence of Arabia is definitely a top notch movie. I haven't seen it in years and I need to. Thanks for reminding of that movie.
