Best game since Houston

Ament had himself a day, the extra week of preparation and his continued work to improve is paying off. Still needs to physically get stronger but he handles the speed of the game so much better and his looking for his shot which is nigh impossible to block.
He set the tone early too, aggressively scoring our first 4 points of the night without hesitation

Pressure seemed off yesterday hopefully this team plays that way going forward. Shout out to Pearl for stomping gators there yesterday.
I’m an ignorant sports fan and I’m not sure why Freak even allows me to post

What’s funny is my initial instinct when reading your post was, “What’s he talking about? Pearl doesn’t coach Auburn.” Thats funny that I associate that name with his dad only. Thats what winning does though. He will have to carve out his own name.

That’s what I’ve enjoyed seeing. Even in the second half against A&M, he was scoring but he was still hesitant. You saw less of that against UK and none last night. It’s really awesome to watch. He’s a freshman, so he will have another off game at some point, but if he stays aggressive and decisive, he and we will be fine.

He's certainly going to get to the line and he's ultra confident there now

When I first saw the title of the thread, I thought the OP meant Wade Houston! 😩

No doubt about that. The biggest difference is the improvement of Ament. He is becoming the player Barnes and the rest of us were hoping for. The other improvement is playing a front line of three players 6’ 10” or taller. The team I saw for the last 3 quarters can cause some problems fit others in the post season.

Play like that inspires confidence and enthusiasm for the remainder of the season. Great job all around.

Definitely I think it went from pressure to just knowing they had to lay it out on the line. Not sure Bama is all that either tbh
