This is sort of a spin off the "favorite sports" thread.

What is the best, or most satisfying feeling that you experienced playing sports? For me, nothing has matched the high of hitting a homerun.

I always loved the locker room and the bond that you had with all the guys.

I loved getting that big hit. When you decleat someone.

Putting shoulder pads in the midsection of a running back coming through the line of scrimmage.

Nothing better than when you grab the stick before a game of pocket pool. Makes the hair on my arms stand up

I could see that. I'm a senior in high school and all of my best friends are the guys that I have played sports with. It is weird how the more hell a coach puts us through, the bond between the guys becomes tighter.

I know all of you male's number 1! ---> getting slapped in the butt by another guy after a good play! :)

I played football and hit people hard, played baseball and hit homeruns, played basketball and never made a shot, but the thrill of going downhill on a road bike at 40mph is pretty awesome.

My favorite feeling was always being on the mound when the game was on the line and striking out the potential game winning batter...... worst feeling was walking or giving up a hit that lost the game for my team.

I want to world to open up and swallow me everytime I make an error. I play outfield and making an error in the outfield is unforgiveable. People forget about a booted ball a short, but they never forget a screw up in the outfield.

Throwing a perfect hook right into the 1/3 pocket and hearing the accompanying kaboom.

I wouldn't know. Never made an error in the outfield.

Leading a comeback and knowing I'm gonna drive and score to seal it, unless they foul me... But I'm "money" then, too.

Once had a dude cussing his whole team after the game, "Y'all let one dude beat us!!!"

Felt so good...

I guess the greatest thrill I've had is knocking one out of the park. I'm still waiting for that golf ace, though.

Since I've started running, I'm looking forward to completing my first "long" race. I plan to do the half-marathon at the Music City in April.

Setting a screen on an unsuspecting defender. Especially right around midcourt.

Although one time a guy hit it to me in left field, easy out until it got in the sun. Couldn't see it anymore but held the glove in line with the track the ball was on so hopefully it wouldn't hit me in the face. The ball hit right in the pocket of the glove and bounced out. Since I lost it in the sun it wasn't an error. Right? :p And I didn't look like a doofus getting hit in the face with the ball.

Football - making the big hit
Baseball - making an impossible catch
Basketball - putting someone of their ass with a crossover
Golf - hitting the fairway with my driver *sigh*
