I try to go out to Sherri Parker Lee stadium as many times as I can to support our team, and every time I go out there I really enjoy the experiences; the vibes, noises, chants, complaints, dancing, excitement, all the marketing promotions, not to mention the impressive wins our great team put out on yearly basis. Obviously the wins have been the most enjoyable part of the whole experience, and going 17-0 at home this particular yr has been truly amazing. :)

I've been to no other college softball stadiums but watching from TV, a lot of the SEC schools seem to have a great venue; to name a few AL, FL, AU, LSU all look to have a great fan support and their stadiums look filled & fantastic.

What are some of the best college SB venues/stadiums you've been to and why? How do they differ from SPL? I'd appreciate if anybody can share some of his/her well-travelled amazing SB experiences and educate me. :)

I just have to say that the group of fans that are up on section C I think it is, and get the crowd going have been great throughout the years, but this year, how should I say this...it's a little creepy. This year they seem to have a costume for each game, yesterday it was wearing what appeared to be custom made onsies. But that part is fine.

The part I'm not sure about is that they seem to be a little overly attached to the team and maybe some girls on the team. And the Lexi poster/billboard they have and these blown up faces of some of the players? My 12 year old daughter at the games is weirded out by them, and although I doubt she will ever have the skill to play for UT, she has marked them off her list of schools she will play for just based on them. They've always been a rowdy bunch, and we've had season tickets for 5 years now, but this year they seem to have gone to the next level.

Maybe (Although I'm pretty sure) someone from that group is on here. Please feel free to smack me down. What they've done in the past is fine, but this year just seems a little more involved in not just the game, but with players and their families during games.

Again, smack me down, tell me I'm stupid and I'll accept it.

They've always been like that and the girls seem to not have a problem with it nor do the coaches...a lot of them seem to have kids and some of the group always has the kids take pictures with their favorite players....they also travel to road games sometimes....you may think it's weird but there is nothing wrong with being a fan and supporting the girls

Oregon's is legit too...best in the Pac12

Oregon did the renovation and it's good. ASU's stadium is great. UCLA has the traffic issue but how many softball fields can you hit a home run and have the ball almost land on Sunset Boulevard?

I was sitting close to them this past Sunday, and I could hear everything they, the rowdy bunch, were chanting/shouting. They are doing a such a great job getting the fans fired up and they help enhance the game experience for the casual fans. Kudos to them! I had no problem except for one little thing; right before our pitcher(s) deliver a ball, Gregg, our SS, shouts "ready?" and then our infielders follow with "ready!". And then our pitcher fires a ball to the home plate. The dude, the leader of the group, was constantly shouting "fire!" right after our infielders let out a "ready!". It's cute and can be viewed witty, but that was annoying to me. I'm not sure if Erin or Rainey could hear the "fire!" from the circle but it could potentially interfere with our pitchers' concentration and mess up their delivery. That is an unwelcome hindrance which we absolutely don't need..
