1. Bring in Cutcliffe as HC for 2-3 years and create stability.
2. Bring in Tee as OC and title coach in waiting.
3. Let Tee stock the shelves with talent for 2-3 years, and then give one of the favorite sons the keys to the car.

Also give Cut money to go steal a top shelf DC.

No. to all of it. **** this "Tennessee guy" bull****. If the only reason to hire him is he's a "VFL" there's no reason to hire him.

Best case is to hire Mike Houston proven winner that's all he does is win. Cut or his wife doesn't want anything to do with this place I am thankful for what they already done but that ship has sailed long ago

Best case is certainly not Mike Houston.

so basically Tee has to prove hisself! Get out of here with that. But we can hire Dooley. He will never come. He in a good situation. Have to make it worth his while. At this point, it doesn't matter. No one wants to come to UT

So, I think there is a lot wrong with this plan, but I think the biggest flaw is that Tee isn't coming here to be a coordinator.

It is not about proving himself, it is about experience and situation. Cut has walked into bad situations before and turn things around. He did for us after the 2005 season and for Duke when he took over as HC. Also it will give Tee time to get his guys.

None of that is happening. My best case scenario.....fire Currie and name either Blackburn or Fulmer as the AD. Then have one of those guys make Frost a ridiculous offer that he can't possibly say no to. Then you hope and pray he's the young star everyone thinks he is.

Reality tells me we settle for a no name or coordinator that we have to overpay to sign and we are right back in this spot in another 5 years, and by then, I and many other long time UT fans just stopped giving a damn about the program so we couldn't care less if we win or lose or who we hire.

Cut's too old and he's not going to touch this mess.

Let's get Tee home before somebody else signs him.

I’d be 100% for it. Unfortunately, Cut told UT no thanks today, staying at Duke.
