I don't keep up with the NBA as much as I used to and was wondering what the best landing sport would be for DK if the Lakers move him? I would love to see him be utilized better than this past season.

Dalton would fit well in Orlando. Despite getting Bane they still need more perimeter shooting. He could be the 6th man for the Magic in my opinion.

Honestly? I wish the trade to Charlotte would have stuck. Not because I like Charlotte, but I think DK would have gotten to have solid minutes, be appreciated, and grow in a smaller market. And then he could cash in during his second contract in free agency.

I don’t think Charlotte would have been good to him. Something that often goes unnoticed is how being on a dysfunctional franchise early in your career can wreck your ability to keep learning how to compete, as you become complacent and motivated by personal success. That in turn can shorten your career, as you don’t have a strong incentive to improve your skills while you can still get by on physical talent.

Memphis is part of Arkansas or Mississippi as far as I’m concerned. West TN ends at Jackson.
