Bert or Tim

I think Bert B. adds a lot of excitement to the UT mens bball games. I love his signature "money" when Lofton etc. hits a bomb. Tim Priest is good also with his job with the football radio broadcast, but I really like Bert. What do you guys think.

Living here and listening to the games when I can to see how the Vols are doing, I like Tim better. Bert grates my nerves worse than Dickie V. This of course is objectionable from a Gator fan's point of view. :)

Bert is too much of a homer for me. Bill Justus does an excellent job as an analyst for our TV games. Bob is acceptable as play by play for basketball. Bert talks over Bob too much and should let Bob handle the game and keep his yelling and cheering in check. Tim Priest is fine in football but Bob is so poor it is difficult to listen to a radio football broadcast for long. I know John Ward is the greatest and we were spoiled by his talent to describe a game like no one else, but surely we have other people who should be considered for radio broadcasting. TV guys first are usually not good radio broadcasters. It is a different type of work. I have said from day one Bob thinks we are all seeing the game on TV and he doesn't realize the radio does not have a screen. He has to describe the action.

agree, I think its because he doesnt have as much time 2 think of something stupid 2 say during baskektball (example:checkerboards!!!!!!!!!or touchdown area, give me a break bob).

Oh he still does his best...for example: "free toss" instead of "free throw"...every...single....time

Bert was okay at first but I think he has gotten the big head and has now gone over the top. When a guy is 0-7 from three and finally makes one that does not constitute money! Give it a rest Bert! However he might be reminding everyone how much his family is donating to the fund.....thats called job security. I would also take Ryan over Priest.
